“Elsie Nord”  by  Marsha Robinett

I am a pencil artist from central Illinois, and I specialize in black and white art. Where some would consider the pencil only for the preliminary sketch, I take my drawings to the next level by creating complete and detailed dramatic works of art. My drawing style is "expressive realism".

I do both still life and portraiture, the latter being my passion. My commissioned portraits are a celebration of the subject's existence. My goal is to capture my subject's essence and emotions on a piece of paper, presenting my feelings of this person to the world in my own unique style.
