English artist Debbi Johnson prefers to work in graphite pencil and watercolours.
Debbi told us...
I am a self-taught fine pencil and water colour artist living in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. I have always had a great love for all animals and they have been my inspiration. My wonderful Labrador 'Sam' was my first subject, I drew him in one sitting, them went on to draw my five other dogs, horses and animals on my parents farm. My main work is horse and pet commissions in graphite or water colour which I love. Now that my two little boys Ben and Robbie are at school I have more time to devote to my art.
I am proud and excited to have my first set of signed numbered Limited Edition Giclée prints available of 'The Cow and Calf' rocks in Ilkley and am currently developing a website and hope to exhibit in the near future. I am presently working on a water colour of 'The Fleece' in Addingham which will be my next print.
Please contact me as commissioned portraits make for a wonderful gift that can be cherished and handed down to the next generation.
